Lakeview Community Church (LVCC) was established December, 1980. By Easter, 1981, LVCC had outgrown two facilities and subsequently moved to a leased facility on McCulloch Blvd. By December, 1981, LVCC was able to move onto the present property on West Acoma Blvd. The church renovated the existing small building and was ready for services. Since then, the church has undertaken three additional renovations, bringing the present size of the facility of over 25,000 sq.feet of meeting area and nearly six acres of land. In 1982, LVCC, which had begun independently, affiliated with Grace International, a fellowship of international churches, and remains a part of that fellowship.
Presently, LVCC features an active engagement in the local community, especially focusing on youth ministry. We have seen many young people continue into ministries around the world. One of our favorite times is our annual summer camp, which through carious fundraising events has fostered an opportunity for every boy and girl who desires, to also attend. LVCC has also been very active in missions. To date, LVCC has raised more than $3.5 million for outreach around the world, including orphanages and Bible schools for youth and young adults, clinics and feeding stations. Thousands of people have been reached with the Gospel through these projects, and have had the privilege of building churches around the world for these people to attend.
Locally, LVCC has served Lake Havasu City through evangelistic outreach; many people call us their “home church.”
